Here's a screenshot from my 3D engine, which will be released in early 2007. This scene uses bumpmaps, shaders, and volumetric lighting effects, with dynamic shadows and physics on all objects. Ropes can be attached to models, lights, even other ropes, which allows many interesting configurations.
