PhysicsContactZ# ( world,event_type,index )

Parameters

world - physics-world handle returned by CreatePhysicsWorld

event_type - contact list to read; only 3 (hit) carries a contact point

index - 1-based position in that list, up to CountPhysicsContacts

Description

Returns the world Z coordinate of a hit contact point.

One third of the impact position - see PhysicsContactX for the family overview. Use all three components to place effects right where the collision happened.

Only hit events (event type 3) carry spatial data; asking a begin or end event raises a runtime error. The event lists are a snapshot from the most recent StepPhysics call and are replaced by the next one.

Requires Extended mode.
