WindowMaximized ( window )
Parameters
| window - window to test |
Description
|
Returns 1 if a window is maximized, or 0 if it is not. It reports the window's state right now, however it got there - your own MaximizeWindow call, the maximize button, a double-click on the title bar or the user flinging the window at the top of the screen all look the same to it. The classic use is remembering how your tool was left. Before you shut down, store WindowMaximized(window) alongside GadgetX, GadgetY, GadgetWidth and GadgetHeight in your settings file; next launch, create the window at the saved rectangle and call MaximizeWindow if the flag was set. Saving the plain size and position as well matters, because those are what RestoreWindow will go back to. Every change of window state also delivers a window size event ($802), so you do not have to poll: check WindowMaximized when that event arrives and you will catch the transition on the frame it happens. Requires Extended mode. See also: MaximizeWindow, RestoreWindow, WindowMinimized, SetMinWindowSize, CreateWindow. |
