DOES run well on Vista Basic or Vista?

I got the link from this months PC Gamer. it has a full page in PC format so they dont seam to think its dodgy enought not to recomend it.

Abandonware is not a legal grey area - it's illegal, that's all there is to it.
A lot of the games mentioned on the website are still being sold, so yeah...
