while it's nice to see profit from my past microsoft purchases end up modernizing the planet I'm pretty freaked that the MCI interface was removed from Vista breaking I would imagine 90% of the worlds educational cdroms, no great loss perhaps...

Apparently invoking XP-compatability on your executable before running restores the interface.
