impressive graphics wings... is this the evolution of your current project ? And if so, is it still using your TCP/IP code...?

I must confess I've never been a WOW fan, have succumbed to Never Winter Nights on occasion though.

This isn't his game - it's a MMORPG that he has found that resembles WOW.

The question is...is it as mind numbingly boring as WoW?

I tried to play this one a year back. It really doesn't have ANYTHING to it except bland 'kill-a-monster-for-this-item' and pretty graphics. WoW is actually playable for more than a week...

That said, it's one of the almost-good-enough free MMOs out there. If you want a really good MMO, though, try Last Chaos. If you want an AMAZING MMOFPS, go Combat Arms. Either one is loads of fun and kept me occupied for a while.

OMG LOOK AT THOSE HORRIBLE CHARACTER SHADOWS.. since when did shadows have color.

Lots of different things to upgrade. The armor is somewhat limited for what little I saw. I've only seen the 1st island armor ;)

When there are multiple light sources, areas in shadow will be coloured by the lights which are not obscured.

I am still playing ultima online in EA servers. Never seen an MMORPG to beat it yet.

nope

WoW looks better, and I found it to be extremely addictive up to a point where you really have to force yourself to delete it completely and your account too if you still want to do something else with your life. So I guess those who find it boring should count themselves lucky! ;)
