Well, uhm..

Did you hear of Songsmith?

I just read an article about Microsoft's music generation tool (composes you the music according to your singing and a few setups). Whilst it's an interesting approach the first implementation is rather ....

It seems to be popular making fun versions of pop music already, search for songsmith on youtube.

Anyway have fun with news from the dark side of the moon.

I think it's one area where things shouldn't be so automated. If you have a computer actually generating the music, then you've lost the artistic creativity involved in making a song :o)

Hmmm not so sure, I listened to quite a few tracks and became bored quickly. There are 5 different music styles to choose from but each song sounds very similar to any other that use the same style, except that it has different lyrics.

as long as it aint done on pc its ok

Songtastic! I expected Tray Parker to pop up at any time :)

i love the way we in europe get it for 29 euros compared to $29.95 a whole .95cents difference, yet im sure the exchange rates would offer me a better conversion

this shoyuldnt be on pc, it should be something for the 360 :D

It's not only the chord progressions though, it's the lyrics you use for the chords, the drums, the bass line, pauses, solo's etc etc. There's so much more to making music than just the chords you use.

I knew there was a reason I hate all pop music.
