Well, unfair or not, it's the same reaction I had. It's quite well done, but the mechanic just didn't hold up for more than a couple of levels for me.
I can't free the second viking on what I think is the third level :(

How do I do the third level? I can't cut the frozen viking free.
this was posted a while back -- great game, beat all 40 levels in an evening.
- First fill the gaps in the floor by cutting the icicles above them
- Cut the icicle with the viking in it and it will slide towards the boat
- Make two cuts into the chunk of ice with the left viking: One horizontal one, and another wedge-shaped one under it, that will get it sliding.

Yep, i liked it. Some of the challenges are a bit hit and miss, especially the one you have to cut the ice, to swing the boot. However, you have to shape the boot slightly different in order to give the viking some height.
