Well I'm not that well versed in RSS readers but I know that google has a web-based one that could be worth checking out. Perhaps other people can recommend their favourites? ...

If you prefer a reader running in the background for faster access, a simple free, fairly lightweight alternative would be Windows Live Mail.

Your web browser may have a feed reader built in, or available as a plugin. The Opera browser I use has one built in, for example.
