I'm bumping this thread because I think it's interesting that nobody's talking about it. Usually whenever Mark posted something in his worklog, it was a topic of discussion for days if not weeks. Now the entire worklog disappeared and nobody seems to care anymore.
Is that because all questions have been answered once and for all after Mark open sourced Max3D and said in a post that he wants to go back to actually creating a game instead of creating tools for game creators?
I would still like to know when there will be a next BlitzMax release, for example, and how much its development will be affected by the change of Mark's focus. BlitzMax has matured a lot over the years and it's a damn fine product, but the last non-SVN update was quite a long time ago.

My guess would be he's deleted them due to being pissed off with a) the whingers of these forums and/or b) the whingers quoting from his worklogs and whinging that they were not followed to the letter.

Mark has never seemed all that keen on worklogging. With his recent stated changes in the focus of his work efforts, I'm guessing that he's decided to dump the stuff he has no real interest in, and concentrate on the core stuff that does interest him.
That's cool. The problem is (as many times before) that he doesn't communicate about it and now nobody (except for the insiders) know what's going on. Missed opportunity.
