the links are not dead and it was announced last year that both tools will go opensource this year.

Blimey. I do apologise. I mistook my obtaining of the source as purchaser with it becoming open... but I still can't get to the links.

do you have a modified HOSTS file or some other form of ip blocking?
I did and "home.arcor.de" was blocked (which both adresses resolve to probably)

I just went to have a look at this, and my OpenDNS connection had it blocked because those two domains were categorised as "Nudity, Pornography".

Have these sites changed so much since the last time I visited? ;o)

It's really cool that you've changed these programs to the GPL. I didn't know Mapeditor was written in Blitzbasic. Now, if someone with Blitzbasic experience and the compiler would add an undo function and fix the fact that you can't tab from field to field in the dialogs, that would really rock.
