Personally, I'd be testing the dog's owner for a brain swelling if she thinks that the Wii is responsible for her nearly killing her dog, but hey, that's just me.

How hard was she swinging? Granted the dog is probably pretty small being a puppy, but no excuse for swinging that hard to knock a dog unconscience.

I think the core problem is with girls. They are overreacting emotionally, and thus moving the Wii controller with too much force around.
Thus, girls should only cook food and bring beer to the men who play games.

Girls are allowed to play Twister though.
