Played this a lot when it first came out...

Its excellent when you have got a good team/friends playing...

But I've gone back to playing TF2 (again)... I still play this now and again.

Can I add you to my steam friends list?

Meh, this game sucks. It desperately needs new content.

I played it. I beat it with a friend on co-op.

Left4Dead is very dynamic. In versus mode, for example, you are virtually guaranteed to be surprised by something new :)
(Or maybe that's just my short memory acting up again)

Still, stick me on the bandwaggon that wants new content. I'm sure they have some coming; VALVe releases new content for TF2 and a copy of that one costs far less money.
As for teaming up, there's a Blitzers group on the Steam community. Just join that!

Still need to beat all levels on Expert... :(
But new stuff is always welcome.

Heh, 100 dull hl1 box-style maps, or a few amazing ones worth the dollar, and adding cinematic uniqueness to a zombie game (which is hard to come by)?

Within the next month, there should be a content release. They have been working on it....the game hasn't been out long at all, and along with the release should come the SDK for it, so custom content will start pouring out. Should be good!

Last I checked, they're adding full Versus support for the last two campaigns, as well as adding an additional new campaign to the list. I can't wait personally, even though I haven't been playing L4D much at all.
(just been too lazy to reboot into WinXP to play games these days when I got my PS3 sitting right beside my Mac)

All I personally want is an actual server-flag for mic-only games. Hate playing versus just to find out I'm the only one able to talk on my entire team.
(I don't even bother with people if we can't communicate easily, sorry, but by the time you're done typing "SHIT, Stalker got me!" on expert you're already dead)

Remember to change ctrl key to other key (eg. z) to avoid damage to your left-hand fingers.

Ah...my pinky already has an arc from climb maps in TFC and CS =p

There are also, of course, some community efforts to create campaigns. (A Dawn of the Dead one, for example). It would be interesting if Valve pushed the better ones to official updates, since finding a server with unofficial maps would be pretty tricky.

Im a little disappointed at paying £40 for what's a short (albeit very well polished) HL2 Mod, still it was my choice and to be honest.... it's been immense fun.

Just joined, need to do 3 levels on expert.

I think its overpriced, but its very addictive.

Compared to paying about 80-100$ for n64 games years ago when money was worth a little more (Cost of living on the rise, wage increases, etc).....40$ is nothing...especially when you consider that the costs of developing such games now is probobly more expensive then the games that used to cost 100$.
