The Little Fat Games Company

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I thought I would use this day to launch my casual/indie games company:

The Little Fat Games Company

Feedback on the site and game would be cool (although I got a lot of feedback a while ago when I released a beta). My first game is also now out for Mac as a Universal Binary

I do need to add the donation buttons tomorrow :)

Anyone got any advice about where/how to submit my free games to portals/listing sites to drive up traffic?

Again, like your game, I love the graphics style.

Nice layout too!

Happy Holidays.

Site looks nice, different. When I click the About page the page shifts over and the background changes slightly, seems a bit disconcerting. Firefox.

I see that too.. It really shouldn't change though (if it just set as the background image..)

Firefox here too.

unfortunately it has too as otherwise I can't have images going over the top of the background paper. Unless I use PNG's of course, with transparency, but then that will break it in IE6, which is still very common browser.

I will see what I can do with gifs, but I was very disappointed last time I used them.

Just in case you're interested: there are some tricks you can use to get transparent PNGs in IE 5.5 and IE6

Some pointers:

cool.....I am really tempted to just use PNG's normally and ignore IE6.

I like the website.

Its a good idea doing the charity.
Im not sure about this (so you had better check) weather you need to include the reg. charity # info on the page with the donations buttons. Are these donate links direct to them or to them via you? (there may be rules regarding that, b careful)

Good luck with it :)

I like the website, very clutter free and you can see exactly what you want from the off... nice looking bat & ball game!

I am not sure about the rules regarding collecting money for charity. I intend to collect it in my own company paypal donation account then give it to the charity at the end of the year. I wouldn't have thought there would be rules regarding this as its no different to someone doing a sponsored run, and personally collecting the money.

Nice site... The only thing I can say is that the pinboard background doesnt look too pinboardy backgroundish.

It needs to be more corkish, if thats the word.

Dabz

I want to commend you for making your games for charity. You may recall I tried to do the same thing a while back, and I posted here about it. I hope you are more successful at it that I was :)

There have been many problems with running charities through paypal, where paypal locks your funds. But I read about many of those stories a few years ago, maybe things have changed.

Nice site.
