I think I just solved the whole moon debate.

The film features "Nixon's" pre-recorded address to the US Nation about the deaths of the crew. Or something to do with the mission going wrong.

This (for me) proves the whole moon issue about whether the moon landings were faked or not.

Both sides are correct - if you are in the 'they landed on the moon camp' then you are right.

If you think the film of the landings is faked - then you are also right.

I've solved it.

You can bet your life that the US administration would have discussed in advance about the chances of losing the video feed.

It stands to reason that they would pre-record footage in a studio to fill any gaps.

It wasn't just about going to the moon - it was USA against the Russians. The whole world was watching. It would be a disaster if they lost video feed.

The footage of the moon landing is part real and part faked.

It now seems so obvious.

I solve one of the biggest mysteries in the history of the World and half of you (if not the majority) are watching other things.

im convinced it was fake because of the lunar module,
it used gas-propulsion to escape the moons gravity 1/3 of earths.

The tank of gas it used was tiny, whereas the amount of rocket fuel used to escape the earths gravity was huge.



The fuel tank is on the bottom, tiny in comparison.

It's actually 1/6th plus it has no atmosphere. You don't need 1/6th less fuel, you need WAY less due a square root in the escape velocity formula and the smaller radius: v = sqrt(2GM/R)

Makes sense that part of it was fake and part was real really.

I can't believe this "controversy" is still around. You can, through a terrestrial telescope, see all the crap we left up there (like the base of the lunar lander module and the moon rover).

Well, it has been proven that people who believe one conspiracy theory are likely to believe others. For this reason, it's almost impossible to disprove this one, because believers will invent new outlandish theories to support their beliefs no matter what you say. It's sad really.

The Illuminati (or perhaps the Bilderberg group, or the Lizards) secretly imprints fake images of all that moon-landing junk that you mention directly onto telescope lenses. These images are, er... invisible to the eye unless the angle between the lens and the moon is just right. This sounds implausible, I know, but I have it on good authority from my spirit guide that the technology to create these convincing fake lens illusions was recovered from the Roswell crash site.

Are you aware that gravity on the moon is less than 1/6th (around 17%) of Earth's gravity? It therefore takes a relatively tiny amount of fuel to escape its gravitational field. And that's not to mention the fact that the outgoing journey was carrying a lot more weight than the return one.

I guess its easier to assume its all faked rather than think it over logically, gives you something to talk about and all that.

Plus... Most of those "Moon Landing" and the "IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE !" style programmes are a load of cobblers. It's seems to be always unsolved, and we are never any closer to the truth. It's the same old crap, in different packaging !

Not only is the Moon Landing a Hoax but the Earth is a Hoax and the whole Universe.

No Higgs Boson = No nothing for the Standard Model and all we're left with is massless photons. i.e energy. :)

Apparently, this is not in fact possible unless you build a huge 200 metre diameter telescope to reveal the relatively tiny objects. Even the Hubble telescope would reveal no more than a single dot

What about the Laser reflectors that were placed on the moon so that we can bounce erm lasers off em to measure the distances from Earth to moon? As I understand it the placing of these reflectors had to be done accurately by Armstrong and Aldrin.
