The title says it all - 2 page article / interview in the news section about Mr Flack's claymation art style, with lots of pictures of Cletus and a few of Platypus, and one minor mention of Blitz Basic. There's even a picture of the man himself, or at least I presume that is he...
Anthony Flack in Edge magazine
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Anthony Flack in Edge magazine Cool, will have to check that out.
This reminded me -- I meant to post last week that Micro Mart magazine reviewed New Star Soccer 4 (it's currently showing on our news page) and gave it 8/10. (In fact, they gave the last version 8/10 as well!)

Ooh, I didn't even know about the MicroMart review. Better head out a buy it. Cheers James.
Anyone have a scan?
Damn, looks like I missed the MicroMart issue. :(
yes...let's have a scan please. :)
siread, I just bought a copy (I only flicked through it in the shop before), so if you want to send me your address I'll pass it on -- use the address in my profile.

I seem to recall that Mr Alex Amsell of Tuna Snax wrote the then-rather-impressive Xtreme Racing on the Amiga, crediting our own main man Marky Mark* in the process.
[* I apologise.]
The above interview has made me very excited about Cletus Clay, having played a really early Blitz version in the past (which itself is loads of fun). It's one of the few XNA games I'm definitely looking forward to actually paying for, regardless of my exceedingly poor gaming skills and lack of decent internet ("wireless USB: mmm").
It'll look fantastic on my Big Telly, and in its early stages I know that it's still perfectly feasible for a big tantrum-throwing, can't play anything, "right-this-game-can-go-****-itself-out-the-window" loser to actually get somewhere.
Going by this interview and past responses from Anthony regarding the near-criminally un-compensated Platypus, I have every confidence I'll get more than a demo's-worth amusement out of this.
Just wow! due for xbox live! Thats where the cash is these days. If I had to get a game out it might well target that market too.
I spent some time tonight knocking out some clay models in 3D. With the right lighting and animation I believe I can bring the clay look into a 3D world, quite an interesting experience actually. And of course blatantly influenced by mr flack :)
It does seem sad that the entire market is sewn up with "diner dash" "pet shop dash" "fitness dash" "toilet dash" (made the last one up).
I really don't enjoy casual games and prefer something a lot more vibrant, or bright - not necessarily anime or childish, but something with real colour to it.
