Recommend a HD AV Amp for XBox 360

Hello.

I've got an Xbox 360, an HD TV and would like suggestions for an amp - anyone got any thoughts? My knowledge of this is pretty poor but my understanding is that I'm best of going for an HD amp so I can plug the 360 into that, as opposed to directly into the TV. Alternatively, I guess, I can plug the HDMI cable into the TV and run some audio cables into the amp.

Anyway, thoughts welcome.

I have done a lot of research on this and I went with the Yamaha 6160(also called a 663, they are the same.) The Onkyo 605 is also a good choice. These are both mid range. The only complaint I have is that the Yamaha only has 2 HDMI in.

Why not just use your Home Cinema setup with the TV as a HDMI hub? That's what I do, works great.
