Is there any good and easy to use 3D world editor like Maplet or Leadwers 3D world studio? I'm looking for alternatives, so don't tell me to use this 2 ones as I already own licenses for both.
Looking for a good 3D World Editor
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Looking for a good 3D World Editor There are a few others around but it's probably best if you explain what exactly you're after, and what the one's you have already don't provide.
I like T.Ed, even though its mainly for terrains, the droplet feature is pretty handy.
What feature are you looking for that maplet and 3D world studio doesn't offer?
I'm just trying to see what options do I have there. I really like 3D world studio from LeadWerks, just seeing if I'm missing something else that is stable and easy to use. That all.
The new world editor from Leadwerks which combines 3D World Studio and Sandbox might be ready quite soon too. The current Sandbox is also a good addition to 3D World Studio, as it can use 3D World Studio files directly.
I'm aware of this but, does it work with intel cards?
I don't know, but you can try the demo to find out if it works with your card.
On the other hand, you get for $30 a graphics card which works with Leadwerks Engine (GeForce 7600 GS).

unless you have a labtop with integrated graphics card :D Gile[s] is a good editor, and a cracking lightmapper.
@Moraldi: Does Unlimited Drop Pro allow constructive solid geometry?
@Ross C: I already own Gile[s] but I've only used it for lighting. Does it allow constructive solid geometry?

Sorry, i thought you were simply looking to manipulate the positions/rotation/scale and tags data and lightmap. It doesn't do CSG i'm afraid.
that's a pety. It is the best lighting solution I've used. It generates incredible lights
Does Unlimited Drop Pro allow constructive solid geometry?
No. Basically it is an entity placement application with the ability to define custom properties animation sequences etc.
That sounds good, but I'm just curious about easy constructive solid geometry applications. I really like the ones I own, just being curious if I was missing something else interesting.
There isn't any other CSG editors for blitz3D and 3DWStudio is the most advanced one right now. Terrain, CSG, models, lightmapping, custom entities etc.
Ok, so I supose I'm using the right tool. thanks to everybody!
3D World Studio + Blender + UU3D + Gimp + Sandbox.
Nothing on the market can beat that (cheap) combo.
