Remove focus recangle on Windows...

Anyone who is sick of that nasty little box plaguing their computer (like i am) should install this.

I guess if your totally into the mouse and cant stand using a keyboard, for anything. This is for you.

But alas, some people actually use the keyboard to move that "focus" around, usually much quicker then moving the hand to the mouse and finding the pointer, and then move it to the area and clicking (yes im being anal).

Repeat: This simply removes a cheap looking rectangle - does not effect keyboard use at all, very easy to see which "gadget" has focus, because in case no one has noticed, the "gadgets" are highlighted in blue (for vista anyway) when they are in focus - the rectangle is repetitive. It is also removable.

Not everything is. Buttons aren't.


Do you have some sort of extravagant, glamourous, exciting rectangles where you come from? Because where I come from, a rectangle is... well... a rectangle. A square with two slightly longer opposite edges, if you will. I wouldn't say rectangles look cheap, nor would I say they were repetitive. If they were anything but a rectangle, they'd be a circle, or a triangle, or a dodecahedron, or something else.

They don't have tassels, or wear thongs, and I've never seen one poledance. They're just rectangles.

I ask again - why would you want to remove this any more than you'd want to remove your own eyes?

I think there's a hack to remove the mouse pointer, somewhere. Damn thing's always getting in the way.
