Why is this?

i've got a bug repot from a user, and i don't really know whats going on. any one know what's up? here is what he says:

It's an intel based mac (imac 24''), nothing special with it. I did some additional tests this morning, and found a work around : The sound works as long as my admin account is closed (I have an admin account for various admin tasks, and a user account for everything else. Bullet Candy is installed with my admin account but I play with my user account)

To sum up :
- bullet Candy works always fine with my admin account
- but it crashes at startup with my user account (bus error)
- with my admin account, I do a "chmod +s" on Bullet Candy binary and the game works fine with my user account, as long as my admin account is closed
- if an admin session is open, and Bullet Bandy is launched in my user account, there is no sound (everything else works)

Weird isn't it ?

Guessing.

At some point your user account has been permitted to instal new drivers, its has NOT however been given the right to uninstal the drivers in the admin account. So when you are using a misxture of the two, there is a driver mis match.
