Request: Report post option

I think it would be a good idea to have a 'report post'options so that people browsing the forums can report posts to the mods if they find it offensive. This frees up the mods to do other things like looking for warez or coding BlitzMax Max3d ;). If the report option cant be added to this forum software maybe its time to go to another forum software?

On another note it would also be good to have a 'post deleted' option so if the mods make a mistake they can reinstate a post to the forum that they accidentally deleted.

It would get abused.

Some people would endlessly report posts they simply didn't agree with, or by people they don't like. In short it would create more problems than it solves.

I don't think it's a good idea. The forum isn't exactly HUGE.

If you want to report a post, just email BRL. It's not like it's something you would want to do very often, anyway.

I agree with Gfk. People on the Internet are too frail to be given that amount of power.

Agree with Gfk and Flameduck. I don't think it is agood idea, as it would easilly get abused.
