Where to get Game Sounds?

Hi,

i'm searching for ingame sound files (like pistol sounds, sword sounds, wind, water ...).

Where you Guys and Girls get your Sounds from?

I would buy some, but i can't find a shop.

It's for commercial use - i want to sell a game later.

The freesound project has lots of Creative Commons licensed sounds.

These are all programs that can generate sound effects. The best part is that you can make it exactly the way you want, and you own the sound, instead of ripping from something that's already been done.

I prefer to find things on http://www.freesound.org/ and modify them.
