The Game Creator's Social Arcade

Rick Vanner sent me some info on TGC's new application Social Arcade.

If you have a Facebook account you can now add the Social Arcade application and start making games. (Note: Do not use Google Chrome, as it does not add the application properly.)

You can vote for Social Arcade in the fbFund competition. Your vote will help decide the top five fbFund applications. Each will be awarded $225,000 each in addition to the $25,000 each received in Round 1 of the competition. You get one vote per day, so vote as many times as you feel like.

I've been doing business with Rick and Lee for several years, and I think Social Arcade is an innovative idea. Check it out!

Well yeah, obviously. If they are in the top 5 apps they'll get $225,000 more capital. That's good for me and all the other people selling software through their site because it means more exposure.

I'm not much into casual games, but it seems like a pretty unique idea.

Time wasting idea.

I agree it does seem a good idea, its a shame there isnt more 'innovation' over here :s

Most of the posts here seem more like 'sour grapes' tbh. I thought the DBvsBlitz wars were put down years ago but it still seems there is animosity that crops up sometimes.

I kinda like Social Arcade actually. Sure it's not exactly a revolution, but at least they're still trying.
