Me.
Missus gave birth to a lil girl three hours ago, 8lb 13oz. As if in a pathetic attempt to not have this deleted, henceforth I will be teaching her the intricacies of Blitzmax.
G/f and baby are staying in hospital overnight (just cos it's late at night now), which means its just me and a few beers. Should be interesting.

My 2nd (long story there which I've been here long enough for some of you to remember from 7 years ago), g/f's 4th - all girls.
Thanks for all the kind words (and the emails, too). Baby arrived home a couple of hours ago and everybody but me and the cats is fast asleep now. I'll probably get back into the routine of late-night coding since I expect I'll be awake quite a lot anyway. :)

They don't require as much attention (immediate ofcourse, just not as often) as you think the first year...it's when they can walk and run around that your ass won't be able to stick to the computer seat =p

Baby was awake every 20 minutes last night from 10pm til 6am. She had a bad case of the farts that just wouldn't budge.
I think I might have got an hour or so but I've been up about four hours now and I feel like I'm just a brain and a pair of hands slumped in a chair.
Ah well. :D

My son is just over 3, so yes much more so.
are you giving her formula?
I remember my daughter got bad indegestion from drinking the wrong formula,
(too much lactose)

We weren't, but we are now. She's getting along better with it.
She's just had a dose of Infacol and she's much more settled now, been fast asleep for the last two hours. \o/
My misses used stomach massage on my kids, it did seem to help.

Once you get into a routine things will get better though. The real joy is when the little one sleeps through the night the first time.
