Forum request - could be popular - please vote

Can we have an option to filter post history by Forum.

"sswift" is a good example (there are many others) - he has posted a lot in Off Topic/General Discussion; however, the stuff that he has posted in the Programming forums is often important or noteworthy.

It would be cool to be able to either sort post history into Forums or just filter by forum.

Surely we could at least click the 'Forum' title bar to sort the post history into the forum groups? - ie as in 'Topic - Author- Posts - Forum - Posted'.

This surely has to be a popular suggestion as it would make life easier when trying to find an old post that someone made in a specific programming forum, without having to trawl through pages and pages of stuff that would not apply.

I like my idea - who agrees?

Assuming all posts are stored in a mySQL database, I imagine this would be pretty simple to do.

Or you can simply search against a specific forum, which I often find useful.

My idea is better and more clinical.

Of course, only coders would vote for my idea. Anyone who has no interest in the programming forums would probably not have much use for it.
