Obama or McCain? fun game!
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Obama or McCain? fun game!
Here is a fun game I found where you can click on the states to change who they vote for in the 2008 election. You can even change the swing states to make either of them win! I have spent hours playing this "game" and it is kinda fun and interesting even though I can't vote yet.

Oh please lets not start a political debate...
Cool app though.
I would have to say Obama
PALIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh wait i mean McCain
It's interesting to see how the US has swung between Democrats and Republicans at various times in history by using the drop down menu on the right.
..i never understood what is about democracy when you have to choose only between two parties...
Obama bin laden or McCain oven chips, decisions decisions.
Doesn't really qualify as a fun game for me, it's certainly no Fanstatic Contraption.

Well so much for my plea...

Been precious little politcal anything in this thread, just a couple apolitical jokes. Which is good with me.
yeah. I didn't want another political argument, it is fun to play with... I got McCain and Obama to tie 269-269 :)
Let's vote puki for president. If earth gets attacked by aliens, we'll put him at the front to say: I'll put you into my library of aliens, you "creatures"!
Obama will be a great president. I hope he will finally bring some sense and justice to USA, as he's not a redneck republican south stateler :)
He might actually stop the hate against USA and thus stop terrorism worldwide also, just by being the president of it.
....aaaaaand that's the end of the lack of political comment.
Thread lock in 5.... 4.... 3....
Lol, I hate political arguments!
And thats why I shall agree with CS_TBL. Puki should be president.
He can definetly defend us against any alien attacks.(Or if not, we
can send him up as an offering and run for it.)
The Mighty WALNUT()
Actually pistazia nut tastes better than wallnut.
Here's a in-game screenshot with DoF post-shader:
Oh nice!
I absolutely agree. Pistazia DOES taste so much better ^_^
I actually don't even like the tast of walnut. Lol.
And as to the whole presidential thing, Puki might actually BE better
than either of the two candidates. I think both of them are losers.
I hate to say that, but I reallly don't like either of them :(
Haha...
Line of 7's is it bad if my thread gets locked?
wow nice in-game pic!!! haha
Yeah I agree VOTE FOR PUKI FOR PRESIDENT
Maybe in four more years, puki can run.
Line o f 7's is it bad if my thread gets locked?
It has no reflection on you unless you were the one that provoked the locking :)

Puki is neither old enough, nor American enough to be POTUS.
As for the election, that hasn't been about politics in months. It's just a kindergarten popularity contest. And that's what scares the rest of the world. It's not so much that you have a Vice Presidential Candidate who thinks "The Flintstones" is a documentary. It's that it's not terribly unlikely she'll be the 45th president of the US.
Politics indeed.
I agree... everyone I know decides who they want to vote for a few months before the election and never even looks at the other candidates or thinks about changing their mind.
Just heard on #gamedev (on irc.efnet.net):
"If one voice can change the world for Obama, one Viagra can change the world for McCain."

hahaha lol thats hilarious
Leave it alone your adjusting the vote, they will have to count the off shore voters who died a year before the election now :s. Also the people others that didnt even exist but had a vote anyways. Tsk tsk...
I vote for Obama for all the right reasons, but mainly to spite the Republicans. :)
Obama here too.
UK needs a huge right-wing kick i the pants, the US needs a huge left-wing kick in the pants.

Well that's good news for the UK then because they only have right wing candidates as far as I can tell. Not looking so good for the US tho' were the choices seem to be centrist or batshit insane.

(LOL) But how so? Many of ex-pm blairs cabinet were all communists at college. If anything, under the current govt the uk is heading towards a brief period of intentional anarchy brought on by ridiculous new laws, "changing" of teaching methods in the classroom, over the top terrorism scaremongering, idiotic use of the police (ie arresting kids for hopscotch and burying them in paperwork) and the unhelpful side of political correctness that only infuriates and breeds contempt.
Once complete it will then be followed by a (welcomed) crackdown into a neo-communist police state (were half way there now!). As far as 'average joe' is concerned, extreme left and extreme right are about a millimeter apart.
Being a (more or less=) liberal, i always vote for those who are not in power rather than wasting my vote on the liberals themselves, this way my vote -helps- things stay central. (unless the alternative policy is ludicrous)
