Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Article/Book about Game Design

While searching for some tips on text based game design, I came across this online book that is very interesting. I havn't gotten too far into it, but so far it seems pretty good. Although maybe a bit outdated (1982) it has some very valid themes that can be used today. It also talks about HAMURABI in the artificial intelligence section, which is relevant to me especially regarding my RetroRemakes entry.

The "Education of a Game Designer" is something I think every beginner should read.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share it with everyone here;

There are alot of books on this subject you can find on Amazon, however I just started reading this one this week:

It takes the approach of small exercises to tune your thinking to Game Design by looking at things around you and how games are played.
