It's early days of course but I like the low fixed price ranges. Plus the "No DRM" stance. Games should be Vista compatible too
So far their selection is pretty much limited to some Interplay titles, but in general I think it's a great idea.
Are they downloadable? Anyway I imagine some of the problem will just be getting them to run. I played Descent 1 and 2 but that was on a DOS machine...
Yes they are. I haven't tried any yet since I own almost all of them anyway. I would figure they'd use some kind of emulator for dos ones. Like Sierra (erm... Vivendi) did with dosbox on their "Collection" series a few years back.

its not an RPG perse, but still fun.
There are dos and early win titles which are described as Vista compatible... they integrated them with DosBox or other virtual machines, as Steam did a while ago with the XCom series? even though there are some oldies that I still have in the original box (sometimes almost never played too) it could be interesting to play them without the hassle as an installable game.
Anyway, for 5.99$ they also give you interesting additional stuff (wallpapers, concept art, sometimes even the soundtrack), which is not bad at all.
id much prefer the option to pay a nominal fee for an old game than one of those 'abandonware' sites that insist you take surveys for download credits
even with fake details its a pain going through page upon page of c**p just to get the quote needed just to download 1 very old game because nostalgia hit
