Heh, I just took a house out of Oblivion and totally Larged it with ivy - I mean totally super-huged it like a fat doughnut.
Took me ages to realise you have to double-click to place the ivy marker.

Doesn't seem to import objects properly. Every other 3d app i've imported my .objs and they turn out perfect. This app, can't find any materials and loads the .obj with every 2nd triangle flipped...
Thanks for the double click too :o) Very slow on this computer though, once the ivy is generated. Nice otherwise.
Jeez, the exported result is heavy-weight though.
I have managed to strip the ivy. Basically, you can grow the ivy on custom shapes - to 'mould' the ivy - export - separate - now you have custom ivy to reapply. This way you can have multiple clumps and layers.
Might be possible to separate the meshes as well.

It lacks the capability to rotate objects internally - as far as I can tell - really needs object manipulation.
Have to prep your object first so that you can Large them.

I love the fact that you can leave the 'grow' option as long as you like before you hit 'birth' to Large it.

Maybe i held grow in too long...
Could use an option to grown the ivy without the branch/twig bits as they account for a lot of the polys.
The secret is in the objects you choose to grow the ivy on - you can create some fantastic structures out of it.
Meh, i give up. The ivy mesh is fine when in another modeller, but the app itself is terrible. Soooooooooo slow at displaying 3d graphics. UU used Open GL and runs fine.
I think it is fast - it works really fast on my machine. It creates the ivy in about 5 seconds.
