Just bought meself a new one since my old Samsung one records everything perfectly - except for any form of picture whatsoever.
Anyhoo... I can connect it via firewire to my desktop PC and all works smashingly. I'd like to use it with my laptop too if possible, and here's where the problem is.
Laptop doesn't have firewire. Nor does it have any means of adding firewire (no cardbus). It does, however, have 3xUSB2 ports.
Is it possible to plug this into USB in any way? There are some 'adapters' on eBay but they look very flimsy and are in China despite claiming to be in London.
