I had a dream about Blitz...

No I'm not being figurative or anything, maybe I need to stop browsing the forum before bed...

In my dream Mark had called everyone together in a conference room to announce that he was quitting Blitz development. He was urging everyone to migrate to XNA3 and saying he would provide some assistance for people to do so. For some reason there was a film crew there and some people kept insisting he should go on developing Blitz but he was saying it just wasn't competitve and he was tired of the whole thing. Because I've never met Mark I imagined him as a slightly pale guy in his late 30's with a kind of stubbly, rugged look.

The amount of time I've spent here over the years I suppose it's not surprising although it is wierd that I dream about it now when I come here very infrequently and I never did when I was doing Blitz stuff all the time.

Wow. That's probably a lot closer to the truth than you realize. The rest of the dream is of course rubbish.

Maybe you should have started this thread as "I HAVE a dream..."

Grey, I did think about it, but I thought it would not be appropriate and might have needlessly annoyed some people and may have derailed the thread.

Flameduck, I'm not pretending it was anything other than what it was, a dream; probably brought on by reading the forum before bed and a little too much cheese in my diet recently.

Perhaps the dream reflects your own concerns about and perception of BRL, how it affects your future, and your doubts/wondering about whether to shift to a different platform, and guilt about doing so (in the form of it being a big deal with news reporters) ?

I took a huge dose of some nightol/nightnurse type stuff and off to the land of nod, complete with big wad of nicotine gum still in my mouth (dont try it!!).
After a while I was having a bit of 2 on 1 adult fun with playstation and wii, but ps3 kept stopping to moan at me about me wearing socks in bed (something i only do if absolutely hammered=) and would not shut up! .

Weird!, and lo-behold when i woke up I still had my socks on, a mouthful of goo and a headache :/
