it's actually quite strange, try it out.

It says that a guy called Mark Sibly wrote a shooter called Defender. Anyone played it? :O)

He certainly did, that was a cool conversion. I think that was a 3D game build on the code for the Blitz3D engine, it was a good game.

But if you are talking about Overkill it was an Amiga game with, judging by the screenshots, a pseudo 3D rasterized plane... Otherwise I only know of an older Defender which is a faithful conversion of the original.

No Grey Alien Games either gasp!

It's interesting to look up subprime loans on google2001 then look them up on google now. It's all kind of matter-of-fact type stuff on google2001, but now it's all financial crisis this and $700 billion bail out that. If only they had google2008 in 2001.

I looked up puki on Google 2010, the first link was:

It's cool that they link the web archive with it, lets you half-browse teh 2001 intarwebz.

The single hit I get on my own name inks to a dead page unfortunately.

Oh, I never thought I would find this useful, but I just located the cover art for some 'copyright *sex*ing' tracks that mono211.com took down ages ago, which I thought were lost forever. Collection has just improved somewhat. Very happy.
