Error: Unable to determine BlitzMax version.

"Unable to determine BlitzMax version.

Please reinstall BlitzMax to repair this problem."

I installed BlitzMax along with all the required packages, and I get this error when I try to run it.

I'm using a fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

Anybody know how to fix this?

I see that you read Ubuntu 5.10. Hardy is 8.04.
You better read this http://www.blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=78903
But be warned find out if you Ubuntu install is 32bit or 64bit first by opening a command terminal and typing..

uname -a

If it says any thing like x86_64 then you have the 64bit version in stalled.

Worked perfectly, thanks for your help. :) The sticky linked to that thread for Ubuntu, so I assumed I had to use that one... glad somebody pointed out a different one.
