Equally, I would not be too sure whether they record your conversation

All kinds of nastiness could be going on here - I wouldn't touch it, personally. No such thing as a free meal, etc.

I just tried it - it did make my phone ring.

Don't much care if my number is on cold calling lists. I'm registered with the TPS which gives me the right to toy with their minds should they still choose to call me. They're a free form of entertainment.

Apparently: "In return for this service, you listen to a short advertisement before the call, long enough to stick, but short enough not to be annoying."

Still wonder how they can possibly make money on this, especially since they claim to support mobile #'s anywhere in the world as well, and those can easily cost $0.25/minute in europe...

It automatically hangs up after 20 seconds on a call from Turkey to Netherlands.

I'm wondering if it's one of these, reverse charge things, where the receiver gets charged a fortune for the call because it goes through an unregulated network in brazil or something.
