Harpy animated character pack

Today we opened the Creature Vault, a new section of the Arteria3d website, that will contain a whole host of fantasy characters. The first, a Harpy, fully animated, compelte with normal and specular maps

I have to say I don't like the teeth, the strange looking stomach and green skin. You've made it a zombie/vampire harpy so perhaps you should rename it.

I really wish I had something good to say about this, but I don't. Technically it all seems fine, but I really don't like the style or the character itself.

It's quite hard to pin down exactly what it is, but I do think that maybe some of it is something to do with the inbalance/contradiction between a sexy lady and an ugly vulture like bird. Perhaps it could be more like one than the other (I would lean more towards the bird: bigger wings/tail/feet, less obvious breasts). Dunno.

Are the pictures above with normal and specular maps? Maybe you should post pictures without, I might like it more.

The quality seems going down compared with previous series, no offense, but that looks like an old woman with dirty bird wing etc.

I did want to be positive, but that's my first impression and... sorry, I don't want to lie.

hmm i think it looks fine for a harpie. even without the thread title, to take one look at the pictures i'd know it was a harpie.

after reading the reviews i decided to do a search on harpies, following is a few of the links i looked at. going by the descriptions and the pictures of different variations on what a harpie looks like i think this model fits pretty good. to each their own though.

Looks like she is using "ab shaper" a lot...

I wouldn't like to meet her on a dark night.

It looks fine to me, Vampire Harpy does sum it up.
