Planet X?
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Planet X?
Hiya all,
Is there Planet X in the univerise? If yes then it show that the planet X come in to our solar system but I dont believe that.
?
You havent cleaned your coffee maker for a very long time have you?
Blue fluffy stuff = bad.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenth_planet"Today, the astronomical community widely agrees that Planet X, as originally envisioned, does not exist."
:)
It is generally agreed among astronomers that planet X does not exist. Planet X doesn't actually stand for the roman numeral ten but for unknown, according to the guy who coined the phrase. So planet X is the term used for any still unknown planet in this solar system. Basically, if there was any planet bigger than Mars out there beyond Pluto we would have spotted it by now because the bigger it is the brighter it will be, unless it's a black hole of course.
Blue fluffy stuff = bad.
Or really, really good, depending on one's point of view.
So, Planet X, then, I've heard that it's the place where the alien overlords who secretly pull all our strings live. Um, did I say that
I heard this? What I meant to say is that I overhead some
other guy talking about it. I can't remember who he was or where I met him. It definitely wasn't me. Certainly not. Anyway, none of this matters because I don't believe a word of his crazy claims. Nope, we don't really have sinister alien overlords. I repeat:
there are no sinister alien overlords!
Matron? They're doing it again.
I am right as that all I want to know.
cheers
If 'Planet X' is the term for any unknown planet then we can probably safely assume there *IS* a 'Planet X' in our Univerise (sic).
How you can then deduce it must "come in to our solar system " is a bit of a leap and you are right and shouldn't believe it.
.
On the other hand does your original post (and your latest post) really make sense to you? There ARE words but they don't seem to make coherent sentences.
JustLuke's clearly nothing more than a talking glove puppet, but who's the hand? A planetXer, methinks. Pass the dream powder dust....
its hiding behind planet S and planet E
its hiding behind planet S and planet E
Well no wonder a bunch of nerdy scientists has repeatedly failed to find it then.
Huh.. SXE.. huh..? XSE..? hmm.. ah well back to programming
Google for Nibiru
ImaginaryHuman what do you think about all of this? How about 2012, got any personal thoughts about it? Have you got any sings? I'm experiencing some wierd stuff, sings etc
Sings?
He means signs.
Planet X / Nibiru is just conspiracy bullshit.
The kook site ZetaTalk predicted it was coming in may 2003, when that came and went the story got changed that it was just to test people or some shit.
If I say 11:11 or 666 and seeing these numbers alot in syncronius way, has anyone any clue or idea what I'm talking about?
Superstition is illogical, numbers are just numbers, they don't mean anything.
If a number stands out you tend to notice it more.
If I say 11:11 or 666 and seeing these numbers alot in syncronius way, has anyone any clue or idea what I'm talking about?
Yes, either you're crazy or "someone" is trying to warn you about the return of the Anti-Christ on the 11th of November. If the latter is the case, then your informant is feeding you misinformation, because I was actually born 1976. Either way, I blame the Bilderberg Group.
hah I am also bordn 1976 ;)
actually I've looked up on the internet 11:11 what it means, or just 11, look it up on the google, there are people claming to having been seeing this number for last 7-8 years. By seeing they mean seeing it offen and in every possible place... Its a signal to wake up before 2012 and prepare for whatever is comming, it's creazy shit but google it up

Watch it.. (what happened to the moderation around here?)
What has 11:11 got to do with 2012? If people have only been seeing it for the past 8 years, prior to that the time 11:11 didn't exist?
Go google how to make a tin foil hat.
so if the world is going to end on the 11th of november (of any given year) will it kindly abide the 2 minute silence first ;)
What has 11:11 got to do with 2012?
That's supposedly the exact time on Dec. 21st in GMT (I think) that the polar shift will happen, or planet X collides with the earth, or whatever. So when people see 11:11, they feel they are getting a message to prepare for the coming event.

Is "Planet X" like.. is it Pluto or something? Oh wait! Pluto isn't a planet anymore :(

Then I must kill you, for - as a wise Scotsman once said - there can be only one.

The thing is, for as long as there have been people, there have always been prophecies regarding amazing/terrifying events that will take place in just a few years time. Then, a few years later when nothing happens, the prophecies are either revised ("Did I say 2008? I meant 2014! It's be the end of the world, I tells 'ya!" or "Yeah, so nothing happened, but according to a
new interpretation of Nostradamus...") or replaced by new equally outrageous ones ("So the anti-Christ didn't appear... But what about the Lizards! They will destroy us all in 2010!"). The only thing that is almost certain to be coming in 2012 is 2013.
But I'm curious now... what
do you think is going to happen in 2012?
Planet X does exist its in an episode of Bugs Bunny
But I'm curious now... what do you think is going to happen in 2012?
Bugs Bunny riding Planet X completely misses the Milky Way galaxy.
Nibiru is supposely the planet where the gods(aliens) who created mankind live.
I think a polar shift (north becomes south) is the most likely event to occur. Scientists have been saying we are due for it to happen for some time now. The Mayans were very advanced in astronomy and I believe that the next polar shift was the date they chose to end their calender on. Sun cycles are also of interest. The sun has been in one of its longest 'dead' periods since 2002. It is predicted to start back up with avengeance in 2012 due to the long recession. A pole shift was also predicted by the prophet Edgar Cayce.
http://www.edgarcayce.org/AM/poleshifts.html
Where do the gods or aliens who created the gods or aliens who created mankind live? The world needs to know.
Where do the gods or aliens who created the gods or aliens who created mankind live? The world needs to know.
Maybe you should come up with an answer for that yourself. It'll give you something to put in your fantasy novella.
Eikon,
the Mayans may have been (relatively) advanced for their time, but do you really think that they could possibly have possessed the skills or knowledge to accurately predict a polar shift in 2012?
On Edgar Cayce (via Wikipedia):
Skeptics of Cayce say that the evidence for his powers comes from contemporaneous newspaper articles, affidavits, anecdotes, and testimonials, which are not scientifically rigorous. They are also critical of Cayce's support for various forms of alternative medicine, which are regarded by many as quackery.
Michael Shermer writes in Why People Believe Weird Things, "Uneducated beyond the ninth grade, Cayce acquired his broad knowledge through voracious reading and from this he wove elaborate tales." Shermer wrote that, "Cayce was fantasy-prone from his youth, often talking with angels and receiving visions of his dead grandfather. Shermer further cites James Randi as saying "Cayce was fond of expressions like 'I feel that' and 'perhaps' -- qualifying words used to avoid positive declarations." Shermer also says that methods used at the institution operated by Cayce's followers show their ESP experiments have no statistical difference from chance.
One of Cayce's most controversial claims regards the actual age of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. In one of his readings: (Q) What was the date of the actual beginning and ending of the construction of the Great Pyramid? (A) Was one hundred years in construction. Begun and completed in the period of Araaraart's time, with Atlanteans Hermes and Ra. (Q) What was the date B.C. of that period? (A) 10,490 to 10,390 before the Prince (Jesus) entered into Egypt. Today, it is believed that the Great Pyramid was built around 2560 B.C. for Khufu by Egyptian workers and took about 20 years to complete. Egyptian civilization is thought by most Egyptologists to have begun around 3000-4000 B.C., rather than 10,500 BC.
I'll let greater minds than mine decide whether we should believe anything that Mr. Cayce said. As far as prophecy goes, I'm more inclined to pay attention to James Randi (www.randi.org).
Wiki, wiki, wild, wild, err, pedia on conspiracy theories:
According to some psychologists, a person who believes in one conspiracy theory tends to believe in others; a person who does not believe in one conspiracy theory tends not to believe another. This may be caused by differences in the information upon which parties rely in formulating their conclusions.
Psychologists believe that the search for meaningfulness is common in conspiracism and the development of conspiracy theories, and may be powerful enough alone to lead to the first formulating of the idea. Once cognized, confirmation bias and avoidance of cognitive dissonance may reinforce the belief. In a context where a conspiracy theory has become popular within a social group, communal reinforcement may equally play a part.
Of course, you should probably trust Wikipedia just as much as you should trust the prophecies of Edward Cayce. ;)
there can be only one.
what is weird here, is that for no special reason I said that to my self the other day. Now stuff like this is called synchronization. Look it up on google if you have not heard about it :)
If Synchronization occurred, you have been manipulated to say that by some higher conciussness force, and I noticed it only because I have said it for no reason the other day :)
Now I must kill you, or perhaps save you or something :D
Ok, I admit it, I'm your doppleganger... or are you mine?
what is weird here, is that for no special reason I said that to my self the other day.
The other day? How many days ago was that? Spooky.
Edit: Alot of these kook sites claim the poleshift is going to physically cause the earth to move, rather than the scientific explanation of just the magnetic pole reversing as the Sun has under gone.
Edgar Cayce
I dont know about this guy, you don't actually need him to show to people that pole shifts have occured and that there is possiblity that they may occur again in 2012...

Indeed. But remember: what might seem "spooky" when said as a joke in a well lit room can soon become "horrific" when said in a darkened alley whilst up to one's elbows in someone else's intestines. An important distinction to make, methinks.
Maximo,
You're right, of course. It's just the bit about prophecies and repeating sequences in nature that herald doom that I find difficult to swallow.
You know, I am highly sceptical about anything spiritual, religious, or supernatural. Such things stem from nothing more than ignorance, insecurity and wilful self-delusion, but despite this, they remain thoroughly interesting and entertaining topics for discussion.

The DFS sale finally comes to an end. One can only hope(!)
these 4 videos are for anyone who wishes to expand his knowledge about things in this world and beyond:
Guy in video is Greg Braden, this guy has worked for NASA, has worked as scientist for his whole life, programmer, geologist and what not... listen to his wise words, have in mind this video is produced in 1996, he talks about earth magnetic system becoming weaker and weaker, and possibility of pole shift, he is not going to scare you, if anything he will inspire you to possibilities, so do not worry about being scared, there is positive message in there...
I absolutely recommend these very positive 4 videos that are 4 hours long, take some popcorn and enjoy, very good :)
Either you don't believe in anything we are talking about here or believing, I do warmly recommend these 4 videos, you will get very inspired from them and will remove any negative thoughts you have about any predictions, any religious stuff, etc... just watch it it will open your mind for sure...

watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPqferL9no8I think you are in for a big surprise, especially not having an open mind, I would love to see your face when you discover there is something bigger and exists outside of out physical bodies. If anything we humans and our pure, sterile scientific approach is ignorant and has led us so far nowhere, look at the world today and it's not going to get better if we do not understand true reality, one where we all came from. War comes not from religion but from our denial and blindness that we are all brothers. If you knew 100% that I am your brother, that people in Iraq are your brother, that AlQuida guys are your brothers, would you war against anyone? not likely ;)
While our scientific approach is telling us that we are separate from the universe, which helps create separation and feeling of alienation among us that buy the scientific view of the world. You don't see other people like your brothers but potential enemies. Your belief system even if you are not religios is what then creates our reality and hell on earth...
If we understood our true origins, if we all understood them there would be no more wars here on earth, it would be much more peaceful, and this has nothing to do with religion and religious dogmas. Religion is blind as well, not telling us the thought but selling us belief system that is not true, but made for controlling and alienating us...
In the end message of these people is positive, we are all brothers, all from the same place, we are here in this world to experience what it is like to live in third dimension, to broaden our horisont and learn new lessions, express our higher creative self consciousness :)
Dont be so mind closed to these ideas, you will be surprised and scared brother the later you open your mind ;) Start now and just watch, signs will come, either that or I am going creazy and I sure dont feel like going creazy :)

That would kind of make sense, like the china is night instead of day when we would be day instead of night (or some other unusual translation.)
The only problem is if the world ended nobody would worry anyway as there wouldnt be anyone around to worry about it.
... right!!! If I order another DVD from Amazon should I go for the quick delivery option? The 'Big Bang' machine cost me a fortune getting everything delivered 'next day' so I could watch them before 'the end'. I was furious waking up on Friday to find everything still here.
Really though... is this THE one? If so, I'll start spending like crazy... again
The only problem is if the world ended nobody would worry anyway as there wouldnt be anyone around to worry about it.
I'm sure some people here would manage to find a way... and to blame Bill Gates for it.
Seriously - why do people keep starting threads like this lately? Methinks BRL need a new forum rule; "No tinfoil hat-wearers allowed".

Are there not better forums on the Internet where you can post this sort of stuff and get yourself serious, educated, interesting debate rather than in a Basic programming forum?
Maybe somethingawful, because that is what this is becoming.. something awful..

Over the years (8 years now since I registered here) I've seen many of you posting for 2d or 3d artist here on forums and hoping to find artist on programmers forums.

I rest my case :P

there will be people in the matrix that will not want to be awaken and will view this whole thing as something awful and be scared of anyone even mentioning it. Its funny how these discussions really scare some of you guys out there, we can deny possibility of another reallity all we want, but it does not make it scary or awful, open your mind dont be scared to research ;)
open your mind dont be scared to research ;)
Research what? nonsense?
nonsense?
research your self and your fears, that's all you need to ever do :)
the world is flat ... lol
Before each of us humans die, what we really have to discover and ask ourselves is this:
1) From where we came from
2) what we are doing here
3) where are we going?
thats all what matters..
research your self and your fears, that's all you need to ever do :)
My fear is having to see your name posting this nonsense over and over. No, I will not be researching that.

It's funny that this is another one of those assertions of opinion threads. You're not really likely to change anyone else's mind about anything, and if it looks like you achieved that, it's because that person decided to change their own mind based on what you said. You can't really change anyone but yourself and there's always going to be those who are open minded enough to consider that some of these things are real and those who have other beliefs to contradict it. Just let them be. Let them have their choice, it's their's to make. And it works both ways, those who would judge those with a belief in something `unusual` should let those people have their choices and their beliefs. Nobody is wrong, nobody has to be right.
I think there is a book out there titled 11:11 which is all about that number, if you're interested. Synchronicities are fun too.
That would kind of make sense, like the china is night instead of day when we would be day instead of night (or some other unusual translation.)
Isn't that just the earth rotating like it does everyday?
Everyone needs to prepare themselves before its too late.

In which case the poles shift it may change the rotation of the earth, or flip the earth.
In which case the poles align themselves (the geographical positions of the north and south poles trade positions) we could technically be on the opposite side of the earth, in comparison to how it was previously, or something like that.. :P

I'd be willing to bet my life that 100% of your alternative spiritual, magical beliefs are wrong and have no basis in reality, but, yes, everyone is entitled to hold a unique opinion. I'm not actually sure how anyone here would be
capable of preventing people from "having their choices and their beliefs" (which you insinuate that people are attempting to do here). For myself, I'm not going to kill a "magical thinker" for having crazy ideas, I'll simply rubbish the ideas themselves as loudly, frequently and publicly as they are promoted, but if a person wants to believe in sinister alien conspiracies, spirit companions, prophecies, telepathy, or any other such nonsense, then that's up to them.
What I particularly dislike about spiritual/magical/alternative belief systems is that the people who promote them often seem to deliberately target and exploit the more vulnerable, gullible, uneducated, or disenfranchised members of society. They separate them their money, ostracise them further from society, and blind them to the very reality that they claim to be revealing.

In addition, many get responses to check other forums as well.

I suggest you give your case a gentle prod to wake it up a bit.
You can't really change anyone but yourself
Bravo.
I've experienced a few weird things over the years such as out of body experience, shared conciousness, energy transfer from one person to another, precognitive dreaming, healing, and intention manifestation to name a few. And in Aikido we do Ki (energy/spirit) exercises which help us to develop awareness of energy. I haven't gone out of my way to experience most of those things (just the Ki and intention manifestation stuff), it has just happened to me at various points in my life (and it's pretty damn rare).
Until something happens to you then I guess you've no decent reason to believe anything. Furthermore even if something does happen to you, you might find it easier to come up with rational explanations (I used to because I have a very good understanding of science).
One thing I've never seen is a UFO or alien (yet), bummer! Oh, nor have I seen a ghost or angel or demon (and I don't believe in them either). Nor have I seen levitation (I'd love to) although I have experienced minor telekinesis. I haven't seen/felt God or Jesus either although I have had fleeting moments of experiencing oneness with the Universe which is probably the same thing.
There, I've said it. Fire away before the thread gets locked ;-)
Good said Grey, thanks for sharing your personal experiences. Now please hand me over your money, I want to isolate you from the sociality, you seem guiable and vulnerable, you will be my victm so I can make some money.
I was referring to the "industry" - the quacks like David Ike or Uri Gellar, centres for spiritual healing, Scientologists and other cultists, spiritualist mediums, televangelists, and others of their ilk. Having said that, when it comes to this stuff, it seems to me that if you buy into it, ultimately, you're either the hunter or you are the prey.
you're either the hunter or you are the prey.
or you are searching for thruth whatever that may be.
Science isn't providing us with any real thruth and whatever they find, atoms, quantum world, realization that the whole universe is connected, where everything is conected to everything. What ever sciece has realised now was already being said in verdic scriptures that are over 5000 years old. These scriptures used poetry to tell us about size of universe, about reallity of nature, about matter and it being illusion, about conciusness, about everything that scienice is puzzled to this day. So we are comming back full circle, what old schoolars of true knowledge tried to teach us our science is first now discovering and science is as puzzled as ever, even after centuries of progres, genius minds like einstain and likes, noone in the science has a sligthest clue what reallity is, what matter is, what conciusness is, no real answers, what sinence does it give rise to false theories that are proven wrong after centuries... blind faith in science leads nowhere, we belive in it so much but it never brouth us any real peace or made us civilized and peace loving creatures, It brouth us only close to being able to finally destroy everything with a single push of button and to have big brother sociaties and true police states where every single individual will be controled, etc, etc...
who is sleeping and in true denial is lots of you reading this and laughing about it, and trying to defend it by calling lots of us creazy. Better to be creazy then normal I say :p
mind over matter, there is no matter, scientist of today talk about matter and what it is and what it is not:

Science has got more results in the past 100 years than religion in 1000 years.
Its amazing how people like maximo discredits science while blindly using everything its offered, well nearly everything but critical thought.
I'm using technology yes, I'm greatfull for it, but what is technology? it's enslaving us instead of liberating us, we are spedning more time with computers then with each others. We love more computer generated environoments then real nature created ones. We try so hard to emulate and copy nature in computer enviroment, creating terrains, trees, foliage, clouds, sounds, animals, etc etc just so we can become even more tied to it, end goal becoming a slave of technology. I need to use technology because I need it in my daily work and help other people that are dependent on it by fixing their computers, doing webdesign, etc etc. There is no easy way out, but that does not mean that one should not try to search if there is anything else then blindly accept this world when we all see that it's not perfect and that's on the wrong track... So science has not helped us too much, it has inface distracted us if you want... I started using it before realizing what effect it would have on us, on me how it would tie me into it's world...
You can liken me to the Neo, he is in the matrix and is awaking, technology is all around him, his life line, he can't plug him self out just yet because he is not fully awaked yet...
Maybe it's hard for you to understand but keep an open mind my friend :)
Also I am not defending religion, religion is just another matrix, another control system that must be overcommed. What I'm looking for is something else and no religion will give any really answeres on that...
Hello.
Like GA I've experienced some unusual events that prove to me that there is more to this world than can be explained easily. However, I'd never try to push those spiritual beliefs on anyone. As usual, people tend to fall into two camps, compartmentalise their opinions and refuse to budge - that's just pants. Beliefs don't always have to be mutually exclusive and I don't see any reason why science can't respect spirituality and vice versa.
On the subject of the spiritual significance of numbers. Horse-Puckey! However, in October 2012 I shall be 42 which means that I will have found the answer to Life, The Universe and Everything, just in time for the world to end. How scary is that? Not at all, it's just coincidence.
The number 666 as the number of the beast is wrong, as the earliest texts (and Stephen Fry, so it must be right) say it's either 665 or 616 and relates to Caligula (crazy guy, crazy parties) or Nero. Both of whom are no longer with us, donchya know.
Coming back to 'primitive' races, apparently Aborigines have the best weather prediction skills as they actually pay attention to things and their knowledge is based on social memory. So, to my mind, it's not unreasonable to say that the biscuities of Ancient Mu might have had knowledge to predict the end of the world...or at least with as much accuracy as current doom-mongers...which is to say, not very much.
The one thing that I quite like, however, is the recent revelation that the solar wind is 25% cooler than it's been since records began (1969, I think?) but that scientists think it's within normal long term boundaries. Now, that doesn't mean, necessarily, that the earth is going to cool down or anything. What it might mean is that all new sorts, and more powerful, rays of radiation and stuff are heading our way. Not that they'll influence the location of the poles but they could lead to people spontaneously turning into gloop while walking down the street. Possibly.
Anyway, enough from me. Live life to the best of your ability just in case and discover spirituality through halucinigeons, like the ancients did. That's the way to go.
Goodbye.
Jes

You've watched too many movies. Conspiracy theorists are in a world of their own, they haven't woken up from anything.
Maybe it's hard for you to understand but keep an open mind my friend :)
I keep an open mind, but not that open that reason falls out.
Technology only enslaves if you allow it. There's millions of people walking about who say they couldnt live without their mobile phone...which is clearly a load of bollocks, we all did fine without them before and would again.
Religion is for the weak who need a crutch. If you examine religion then it borders on legalised insanity...tell a doctor you believe in fairies and you'll be locked away; tell them you believe in god...an invisible super being who knows and sees everything, and they'll accept it.
I have no problem with people being religious until they start making baseless accusations.
I am not realigious dude, stop with that :P

true knowledge. did you know that our best scientists were spiritual, just take einstein and study some of his quotes and you will see how spiritual he was.
Before each of us humans die, what we really have to discover and ask ourselves is this:
1) From where we came from
2) what we are doing here
3) where are we going?
All these three could have been condenced to 'what is our purpose'.
1) From our mothers. Everything else is speculation.
2) What all the other life beings are doing. Sustaining our life.
3) We perform point 2 until we fail, after which we die (the human race that is).
I tried my best to step out of human thinking and answer those questions. The answers are pretty blatant, but undeniable.
I bet you wanted satisfying but universal answers, but I tell you that it is a dead end. You cannot mix 'purpose' with 'universal'. Why?
The problem is that we are thinking 'in human'. What is the purpose of magnetism? What is the purpose of a rock? What is the purpose of a knife? You see, the last one is something related to human, but the other two are not. But what if we take the "human" out of the knife. Think of a knife in a reality where there's no being sentient enough to use it. What is its purpose then? Purpose is a human thing. Something that helps us to operate with the surroundings and each other. Purpose is a human interface to causality, but definitely not a part of reality.
There are no reasons or a grand purpose. There are no ultimate answers, because the ultimate questions are wrong. They are too human to be real. But what comes to those questions Naughty Alien asked, you can decide the answers yourself. As long as you don't think your answers are universal.
Seriously - why do people keep starting threads like this lately? Methinks BRL need a new forum rule; "No tinfoil hat-wearers allowed".
Im with GFK on this one, if ya must talk about outlandish experiments or X-Files like stuff surely thier should be somewhere you can go?
Yes there is - it's called an asylum. It's like "Cheers" - a place to go where everybody knows your name, but with more drooling. bed-wetting and paranoid schizophrenia.
*everybody* "Norm!"
Norm: "Mischief! Mischief! The devil made me do it. No. No. No. Yes. Mischief!"
A warden, smiling: "Hehe - good one, Norm."
did you know that our best scientists were spiritual, just take einstein and study some of his quotes and you will see how spiritual he was.
Personal beliefs are not science though.

If we can remember then it won't be too late to remember because if it
was too late to remember, we wouldn't remember. It takes all
my effort to appear "sane" let alone "cool". Wibble.

Nein, nicht gut.
maximo, you're contracting yourself. For example, first you say "Science isn't providing us with any real thruth" then later you say "here is what I am interested in .. it's pure scientific documenaty that will open your mind". There's more but I would be here all day to point it out.
Oh, and please stop trying to open my mind, it's mine and I like it that way.
Oh god. How many times do bad astronomers need to be proven wrong? seriously..they are only trying to get childish attention, and they are getting just that.

The reason I started
This Site a couple weeks ago, which anyone here is welcome to contribute their opinions, or create topics such as this.
Oh, and please stop trying to open my mind, it's mine and I like it that way.
I agree. Its like those silly buggers that come knocking on the door on Saturday mornings, trying to give me copies of Watchtower. One of them tried telling me I was born in a mud puddle.
Fortunately for him, I was a much calmer soul in those days. If that happened now he'd be eating his sunday dinner from a drip.
hahah, I second you Naughty Alien :) When our brothers here realize what is going on we will be asking them to put on their tin foil hats on since they can't be alive on the other side and must be surley still on earth having a bad nightmare :)
Guys please no one invited you to this particular thread, you decided to wonder in here and witness what you see as "madmen discussing among them self". Then you start attacking and calling names, and we ask you have an open mind, dont be so closed. Since you come in here, don't blame us if we respond back and ask you to keep an open mind. :)
They'll come and do that anyway, Maximo, it's what they've chosen. The world is a nighmarish free-for-all and unfortunately you can't force people to see things a certain way. I do believe that *everyone* inevitably will `wake up` eventually, ie it is unavoidable, but whether it is their time to do so or to believe so is another matter. The best you can do is wake yourself up and see your awakened self in them. And the biggest thing of all is, that there really are no separate people, we are all one, so you can only really be fighting with yourself, and only you can cause yourself to be harmed in any way. Your are actually immortal spirit.
I appreciate GreyAlien having the courage to lay out some things he has experienced and how that has changed his perception of reality, so maybe I will do the same. I happen to be a spiritual medium - I go into a light trance state and join with a higher presence which speaks through me using my voice. I hold regular conversations with people who are not in a physical body, be they `deceased` or who have never incarnated. Occasionally I sense and see their materialisation physically and they have a very healing presence for those in grief and loss. I talk to and experience the presence of Angels including occasionally seeing them. I hear voices in my mind from spiritual guides, Jesus or the Holy Spirit, or other enlightened beings including God. They are all quite readily available to help. I experience telepathy quite often with my wife. I have experienced on rare occasion materialization of objects. I have travelled to other dimensions in my mind and met with several races of beings from other planets, but not on the physical level. I have had numerous spiritual experiences which completely defy the so called laws of physics. I have memory recall of past lives and have also seen into the future a few times. So for me these kind of experiences are quite acceptable and real and not a fantasy. That doesn't mean anyone else would understand them or believe in them or whatever, but they aren't the one experiencing them. That's ok with me.
>>That doesn't mean anyone else would understand them or believe in them or whatever, but they aren't the one experiencing them.<<
Thats the problem with majority of folks..they always trying to fit things in to 'physical model' based on science itself...to me its said that such people whos so strong in to science, doesnt listen people who use to reach peak in science such as Einstein or simply just his work whats clearly screaming about relativity, that there is no absolute things, its all in motion, change..yet, folks bringing such funny '100% sure' thoughts that this or that does exist, based on how much life time they had? 20, 30?, 40? Thats NOTHING in comparison with greatnes of universe and wisdom its creation.. to me, is purity of ignorance and self degradation not at least accept possibility of presence something else, than just what you 'see', based on so poorly short life time and with that miserably small gained knowledge about just anything..i said not believing, just accept possibility at least..
Also those who have chosen to be insane in a state of unconsciousness are not aware, or wanting to be aware, that they are insane, so what they see they believe is real and true and truth starts to look like a lie. It's all upside down and back to front until you get really honest about what's going on.
And ofcourse you're the real honest ones, everyone is insane but disillusional wackjobs. When you wake up your head will still be firmly in your ass.
you should watch your language...if you found yourself in what i said, its not my problem...and going in to personal insulting like you did now, just talking about your personality..and to answer your provocative question, I am not honest one..I just realized that science cant give answers on to some really interesting questions...and it must be some other way..thats all..and you should watch your language, because for that you dont need any religion or faith, but you still missing that part..
To state the obvious, this forum isn't a good place to talk about spirituality. This thread was off-topic from the word go and should have been locked by now. Retimer has suggested a forum where you can debate this stuff if you like.
What does inane claims and baseless accusations say about your's or ImaginaryHuman's personality?
Start with interesting questions and not the mindless drivel you've both demonstrated.
@ImaginaryHuman: Very interesting. A different set of experiences from mine. Thanks for sharing.
Imaginary Human, I find your experiences interesting. Can I reach you by email provided in your profile here on website? I'd like to get in contact with you, maybe you can help me with some things.
Interesting videos:
Another question to ImaginaryHuman, have you heard of Pleiades? What do you know about them, are they real? Lots of information about them on the net. Have you been in contact with them?
This guy sends a very good positive message, I suggest to all you to take a look, even if you find some things outragous, this guy speaks lots of thruth about our condiion on earth and negative and positive energies that are involved:

So you chat with angels, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, spiritual guides, the dead, those who have yet to be incarnated
and aliens? Do you, perhaps, also answer their questions aloud whilst rocking back and forth on a park bench? :)
Seriously though, everything you mentioned could be alternatively described as "I daydream a lot". Can you see how others might draw this conclusion? What I mean is, do you at least acknowledge how travelling to other dimensions and talking to magical beings, and doing all of this in your mind,
might be what other people describe as daydreaming or making use of one's imagination?
Your post seems to suggest that you have difficulty distinguishing between your desires, your imagination, and objective reality - for example, you construct the mental image of an angel with whom you converse and this for you is proof that angels actually exist and speak to you. You wish that something was real, you imagine it being real, and your imagination is proof enough that it
is real.
Look, I could close my eyes this very moment and imagine a sea of liquid jade below a sky of strange constellations - but this doesn't mean that I have
actually travelled there or that the place exists. I could imagine myself meeting and talking to any number of strange and wonderful entities, but this doesn't mean that any of them exist either.

Insane or not..it was opinion of some people, and you may like it or not, its entirely fine, but to tell people "When you wake up your head will still be firmly in your ass. " is personal insulting, and thats not insane or baseless..its total lack of taste, basic maturity and manners...whatever case may be its okay..its just you..

I told the last one that I dont need afterlife insurance as it wont do sod all to me anyway. Amusingly they used to come into where I used to work till I told them we were all satanist ROFL
the weekend is just about here, everyone have an AWESOME ONE !!! :)
Thanks dude! :-) It's sunny here too, just watered my tomatoes.
So as for things being in people's imagination, well certainly lots of people a) lie, b) imagine stuff and want to be real and then it becomes real to them over time (memory is a funny thing), c) experience something with a scientific explanation but because their understanding of science is not so good (or they have a high willingness to "believe") they then think it's something mystical, d) have an experience caused by their brain chemistry which seems very real but which may not be, etc. I could go on. But there is another category: something happens which is really obvious where there can be absolutely no doubt that something important has occurred. For example you may be in good mental health (define that haha) and have a good understanding of science, and then experience something totally unexpected and so real that it hits you in the face - it's that kind of thing which makes you more open to other possibilities. I approach weird things that I hear with an open mind but at the same time sceptical mind because I believe that most stuff you hear is bull; but there are definitely some things that do merit further investigation...

Waoh - what? Is this an 'only in america' thing? lol. I have never heard of any of that, although it would be a hell of a lot more fun to mess around with people like that then foreign telemarketers.
*keeping the topic related to technology*: My phone has caller ID.

Inane means pointless or meaningless, such as your claim "they'll be sorry when Planet X/Jesus/Cthulhu/blah blah comes". When you decide to grow up and come back to reality then your opinion of maturity might be worth something.
Waoh - what? Is this an 'only in america' thing?
No they come round our way to and I'm UK-based.

Really?
From a previous post by Naughty Alien:
..i'll just say, you'll all remember what ya said about this topic..tricky part is that, it will be too late..till then...enjoy and bee 'cool'..
Aren't you implying here that some sort of mystical/magical/spiritual/religious event will occur in the future to make all sceptics regret their comments? If you aren't referring to the appearance of Planet X, Jesus, or Cthulhu (Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!) then what exactly are you referring to?
am i said any of that names(PlanetX or whatever)? I havent mention any of them and it wasnt what im pointing on to, otherwise ill name it..so, keep your assumptions for yourself and dont throw on me what I havent said..
I didn't, I quoted from you directly and asked you to clarify your meaning so that people won't misunderstand you.
Here, let me repeat my question more simply: what were you hinting at when you wrote about something happening to make all sceptics remember - and I assume, regret - all that they've said? Aren't you implying that "something" will happen to prove them wrong? What do you think is going to happen?
Grow up and read my words carefuly kid..i havent even mention none of things you said..
Sure you have, not the specifics but I couldn't care less what boogeyman you're jumping at hence the "Cthulhu/blah blah" bit.
Let it go dudes, it's not worth it unless you want a thread shutdown...

You'll not make light of Cthulhu when you're insane and surrounded by tentacles. Nope, you won't be laughing then. Well, ok, so you
might be laughing, but it'll be in a crazy way and that's not good.
TICKETS PLEASE!

So agreeing with the "oddness" is fine but disagreeing with it isn't? I didn't realise that only "preaching to the choir"-type discussions were allowed here. :)
Besides, why get uptight about it? Is anyone taking any of this seriously? Surely not. My posts are all firmly tongue-in-cheek.
ive (mostly) kept out of this thread and only skimmed pieces each and every time i open it
what i will comment on (accurate or not) just an oppinion
polar shift, ive not read up on this one and depending on who talks/types about it the world will
A> flip 180 so that australia is upper most in the world and closer to the new north pole (instead of south)
as we dont physically notice the earth rotating or even orbiting i doubt wed notice this 'flip'
B> the poles will flip (and im not talking about a mass polish mental breakdown) and compases will now point to what was the south
im not sure of the effects of a change in polarity
C> (the one i lean towards) the poles have allegedly been 'drifting' for some time and have done for f'in ages and what is currently magnetic north will be just a bit away from where it will end up by
C.1> the earth tilting as well as rotating (as per usual), afaik only the equator and sun dials will be affected
C.2> the earth will still face the same way its just that compases and perhaps GPS will be out of alignment
now if their is a D and E and even an X, Y and Z then i cant be bothered thinking of em
It's interesting that most people think imagination is something that you do `in your head` and that it is confined to occasional bursts of visualization in which you `invent` fantasy realities that aren't really real.
How about entertaining this possibility for a moment... How about the whole physical universe is `in your imagination`, it's all a dream, but yet you don't want to admit that because it would undo your whole important `earth life` and all of its meaning and values. So instead you decide to say ok, all of the stuff outside of my body, and including my body, is not a dream, it's `real`, and anything that happens in my mind is unreal.
In other words, objective reality is something other than who and what I am, and I am merely a subjective victim of the world. Then from that perspective you are able to say that imagination is relegated to the mind and is fantasy, compared to `how real` the physical world seems to be (in your experience of it). You can even go so far as to point out physical scientific evidence that justifies this belief that the world is real, and also cite how so many other people seem to also believe the same - that there really is an objectively real world here. Whatever.
It would certainly seem plausible to say that everything I said I experience is `just in my imagination`, and that by being there it is insane fantasy with no real objective merit. However, where this is all flawed is that if the whole world is in your imagination, then the stuff going on in my little mental fantasy is nothing compared to how much you imagine that this *world* is actually `more objectively real`. As soon as you've decided that there is no reality beyond physical existence, you start to segregate off parts of the world, giving special value to some over others, and saying that some aspects are more real and some less real. So if you did this and decided that new-age aliens jesus mysticism dreams whatever is less valuably real than `other stuff` like material objects, then of course you aren't likely to *want to* consider that your very important physical life is just a dream that never happened. Scary thought.
What this all boils down to is what you `think is real` versus what actually IS real. And for that you need a definition of reality that has nothing to do with personal opinion or the evidence of the world. Reality is `what is`. Is is a spiritual reality of wholeness, purity, constancy, a total lack of change or difference, it is love, it is holiness, it is innocence, it is outside of all time and space, it has nothing to do with people in bodies, it has nothing to do with relationships, it has nothing to do with physics chemistry or biology, it never had a beginning or an end, and is simply everywhere - there is nowhere that it is not, and so if it is everywhere, where the heck is this world except in your insane fantasies? Reality is self-evidently real. What is not self evidently real is the stuff that has to have something else to justify it, which accounts for everything that you think of as the `real world`. It is not real, it is imagined, and my little musings about meeting with other unusual beings `within this dream` is rather insignificant compared to the far more bizarre activity of you thinking that your life/body/job/relationships/computer/house/car/world are real.
I will accept that all of my `experiences` are not necessarily experiences of Truth, because that would mean being in pure oneness with All That Is. Whether it be mediumship or dreams or daydreams or waking dreams (this life) or telekinesis or telepathy or psychic ability or alien civilizations (of which we are one), these things ARE all a dream, they ARE all fantasy, and they are all imagined within my mind - BUT SO IS EVERYTHING IN THIS UNIVERSE, including who I think I am as a separate identity, the life that I think I'm living, the experiences I think I'm having, the body that I think is who I am, and everything else here. All of these fantastical things are no more or less a dream than everyday provable scientific evidenced tested examined studied aspects of this dream. It is all the same. Totally solid physical reality is made of the same dream-stuff that nightly dreams, other dimensions, disincarnate beings and all other stuff is made of. None of this is actually *real*, but none of it is any more or less real than any other part of it.
So what IS real - the only reality is the one that has been the same for eternity, the one that has never changed, the one that always `is`, the one that is wholly without differences or changes or fluctuations or forms, and that is the kind of spiritual `reality` that you enjoy in Oneness. That's nothing to do with this dream life. It doesn't matter whether your dice fall on the side of science or on the side of religion or on the side of new-age beliefs or athetism or anything else. This is all illusions here, all of it, the only reality and the only truth is with God. So to think that any of us are more `right` or more `wrong` than others is itself an insane fantasy, designed to make the illusion seem real and to take on special meaning. The world has no meaning whatsoever that we didn't give to it in our fantasizing.
Life ish an irrusion - the onee rearity ish death!

Nah, I have no problem understanding you - your philosophy resembles some sort of Taoist/Existential hybrid with a bit of the Matrix thrown in to the mix. It's not particularly complex, but I still don't believe a word of it. :)
By the way, although I may ridicule your views I have no problem with you expressing them providing you can accept criticism. I
do think that they are crazy - but you no doubt consider me to be close-minded and ignorant, too, so I guess this balances out in a Ying/Yang sort of way. I'll tell you what - if I "die" before you do and discover that I was wrong, I'll contact you and say sorry.

The problem with your hypothesis is simple, reality is altered by each and everyones perception of it. This is how mad people see halucinations etc, are they mad or do they see something we dont? For all you know it might not be real just our mind making something that we can perceive :)
I think this thread needs locking up, along with several of its contributors for their own safety.
@Imaginary-
Have you ever considered the possibility that it's all real? That the universe is real? That THE HORROR IS REAL?
"The problem with your hypothesis is simple, reality is altered by each and everyones perception of it. This is how mad people see halucinations etc, are they mad or do they see something we dont?"
Reality is not altered by anyone, *fantasies about reality* are altered by anyone and fantasies are not reality. An insane person believes that reality can be altered to be something that it is not, and in their insane belief they have hallucinations of things they're making up - their sense of `reality` (to use that word) distorts, but reality *itself* does not change, only their use of it.
John - no, it's not all real, that makes no sense, and if that were true there would be no hope whatsoever and you'd want to die, which is pretty much what most people want cus they don't know there is another way. Did you know suicide is the biggest un-spoken-about problem in the world?
JustLuke, I don't really mind whatever *you* want to label my philosophy as, or what *you* see in it, or what in your current vocabulary of consciousness you label it as, but do be aware that all of that is your perception of me, and has nothing to do with me, and just because you see it as something, that doesn't mean you didn't make it up. I do not care about whether you criticise my views or not, because in my view you are only criticising yourself, not me. You are clever with your words and in your using humor to put me down or to get a laugh out of your fellow man, but that doesn't really matter. Do what you will, sir.
Gfk, whatever, I'm sorry you feel the need to lock people up.
If it was true, everyone would want to die, and indeed, many people do want to die? That doesn't discount the fact that this is reality, then?
It's not quite as 'doom and gloom' as all that. Life has it's up-sides, too, you know.
And what about what's in your unconscious mind?
I think this thread needs locking up, along with several of its contributors for their own safety.
LOL, Thumbs up to that.
My opinion on Planet X/Nibiru...
What a crock of $#!TBut feel free to build your bunkers and bury yourself's underground, I will enjoy the peace and tranquility for a year or two, knowing all the cranks are safely locked away.
But one good thing will come from all this, the sales of neck braces/deep heat and tinfoil will increase exponentially.
Maybe now's a good time to buy shares in UHT milk and tinned beans?
