DirectX7 Benchmarking software?

I know about 3DMark2000 but I installed it and it simply doesn't run. I got another version and it won't even install. So does anyone know of any other benchmarking software that specifically tests DX7?

Maybe someone has made a Blitz3D app which benchmarks? That would be directX7 right?

Or do any more modern benchmarking programs allow you to select and test DX7 ONLY, and then maybe test DX8 and 9 separately?

GA- Try that 3D Starstrike Remake in the showcase. That should at least show stability in slow DX7 rendering with B3d and Blitzmax.

Fraps works with full screen mode in Dx7. Also, you just want to see if anything in Dx7 works well on your card at this point. Trying to isolate the problem to Bmax if possible. ;)
