A few older Code Archives have lost their authors

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/A few older Code Archives have lost their authors

A few older Code Archives have lost their authors when the Archives are in list view - ie accessed by Special Forums at the bottom of the forum.

On looking at them, there are several different authors involved.

I hope this isn't a 'creeper' - ie whatever caused it will creep upwards through the code archives.

An example is this one
http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?code=53

This does not appear in any of the Code Archive sub-sections - ie is is not here: Code archives/Graphics/Complete Asteroids Clone ( http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?cat=1 )

Also, the author is "Jonathan Nguyen" who has an active account - unless this is an old account of his.

Others that I have checked do not appear in the catagorised archives.

Thanks for pointing this out, I'll take a look. Maybe after seven years the database begins to forget things.

Yeah I've heard about that "seven year glitch". Thought it was a myth. ;)

The database needs more veggies.

Jonathan Nguyen, i remember that fellow. Talented guy, also had a lot of nice trance tracks on his website...

1 database year = 10 human years, so it's unsurprising that the database is starting to forget, it's venerable :)

It's got Grey Alien who frankly makes up for 90% of the forum posts anyway so I don't think that's the issue ;)

perhaps it read too many of nebulas code archives and work logs

It seems it was always 'by Unknown' until recently if that helps.
