Administator Privileges on Vista?

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Administator Privileges on Vista?

Hey guy, I have Vista installed and it's telling my I have to have administrator Privileges to access some of my own files. You guys know how to fix this so it doesn't do that anymore?

Thanks

Disable UAC (User account control) and run Vista from an administrator account.

Cool, thanks

Go to command prompt and write "Net user administrator /active:yes"
I should do the trick, I think

or you propably can't remember this - just go to the system control panel and then klick on user accounts. there you can disable the UAC

Or just change the file permissions.

UAC has a habit of resetting certain permissions on every boot.
