Anyone know of a good software that allows me to monitor my internet bandwidth usage? A google search reveals quite a few but I want to know which one you guys recommend. I have an allowance of 40gb a month and it would be nice to know how much I am using.
Bandwidth monitor
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Bandwidth monitor Before I got unlimited broadband, I used Down2Home to monitor usage. Gives you a nice monthly barchart of usage, amongst other things.
Note that this only works on a per PC basis so if you have muliple machines connected you may need to seek a different solution.

I've used MSI ispeeder, which came on my disc with motherboard drivers. Don't know if it works with motherboards of other manufacturers, though.
DUmeter is very good.
NetLimiter does not only monitor the bandwidth, paid version can even control the speed of on pre-program basic, very nice and easy if you want to save bandwidth on some unnecessary programs.
One thing to note is the 2.x interface is way too complex, I like the design of 1.30 version, you can try and decide which is better.
