TGK and GDK

Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/TGK and GDK

These guys in TGC are looking for morons!
They are asking for their game engine Dark GDK a ton of money $500 (340€) and simply bump mapping technique is bugged.
They are some guys supporting their forums and every time they answer to your question believing that they are gods of programming and always they advising to read more carefully their first response...
Moreover you will need extra money looking for some basic modules to complete a serious game.
Unfortunately I upgraded my license of Dark GDK a couple of months ago... believing that all these comments in Blitz forums about this engine were too much

I was wrong...

The Game Creators DBPro v7 is good, the CSG works fast here :)

What, is your precious Max3D vaporware better?

Who's product are on Microsoft's, NVidia's, and Intel's web sites?

So who's the real idiot here?

Leadwerks, what is your opinion of DB Pro?

These guys in TGC are looking for morons!
Well sounds to me like they've found one.

They are asking for their game engine Dark GDK a ton of money $500 (340€) and simply bump mapping technique is bugged.
I wouldn't say that $500 is a ton of money (I mean unless you have it all in pennies maybe). Besides doesn't it come for free with the new Visual Studio or something?

Leadwerks, what is your opinion of DB Pro?
He's developing his own 3D engine. Q.E.D.

What, is your precious Max3D vaporware better?

Did I say something about Max3D?

Who's product are on Microsoft's, NVidia's, and Intel's web sites?

Where is this law that saying that every product promoted by Microsoft is good?

So who's the real idiot here?

Do you now the answer?

"Do you now tha answer?"

uhh...hmm.....err.. never mind.. ;)

Well sounds to me like they've found one.

Are you interested to know if I am an idiot? Well, I think you are looking the tree and not the forest.

I wouldn't say that $500 is a ton of money

How much is a ton of money then? Can you tell us what engine do you use for your programming needs?

@FlameDuck: The opinion of Leadwerks about DB Pro is that he is developing his own 3D engine?!?!?!

@ Moraldi
I wouldnt give myself hard time because of comments made by people whos got rejected by their wife/gf last night so their frustration came here...cheers buddy...DBPro is a software, people selling with very good advertising so you have been just caught by that, reality about that product is something else, thats all..so no worries, cheers man..

How much is a ton of money then?
Well a ton (metric) is 1000 kgs, and 1 kg is 1000 grams. Most US bank notes weigh about a gram each, so a ton of money depends largely on which notes you want them in. In $100 bills it's about $100.000.000.

Can you tell us what engine do you use for your programming needs?
Well I did use TrueVision3D, before I got my current job.

Hi Naughty Alien
people selling with very good advertising so you have been just caught by that

This may be a reason. I made a mistake. Idiots are people they are not learning from their previous mistakes...

Well, FlameDuck here is the chance of your life:
I am selling my commercial license of GDK SDK for only a few mgrams of money:
$500!!!!

It is only a few mgrams. You do afford a few grams of money!. You already mentioned it is not a ton of money.

Well I did use TrueVision3D, before I got my current job.

You used TV3D. Did you buy it or it was too cheap for you? I am sure that your current job has nothing to do with computers. Are you greengrocer? They can estimate weights only with their eyes!. And I am sure you are very good to this...

PS: The offer is limited ONLY to you

LOL

It is only a few mgrams. You do afford a few grams of money!. You already mentioned it is not a ton of money.
Actually, providing I pay you in $100 bills, it would be five grams of money. But no thank you. I have no need for (and thus no inclination to buy) it.

Did you buy it or it was too cheap for you?
Of course I bought it. I found it to be good value for money.

I am sure that your current job has nothing to do with computers.
You'd be wrong.

Are you greengrocer?
Nope. Software Engineer.

PS: The offer is limited ONLY to you
Thank you for the generous offer, however at this time I couldn't really care less about GDK.
