I'm new to Blitzmax, just trying it out really to see if is as easy to understand as the previous blitz versions, and sadly I'm finding it far more difficult. But this is compounded by the fact that I can't seem to find any example code for each of the commands in the menu like I did with the previous versions of blitz, only a very brief explanation of what each command does?

In any case BlitzMax is easy as previous Blitz version if you want to use as 'basic language'.
Check out the tutorial thread - there are tutorials that explain the main differences, or this link, or use the search function to find out other post and feel free to post in this forum. You will find help!
