Futuremark has announced some details on their new game
"Shattered Horizon" it will be a zero-G team based FPS with (probably) gorgeous visuals.
Press Stuff here and there's a
FAQ here. No word yet as to what formats it would be available on, I would guess definatly PC but who knows?
Darkheart
The weird thing is that if you have a little bit of an understanding of astrophysics than you probably know how stupid and dangerous it would be doing mining the moon which on the other side, thinking of how politics work makes it rather rational again. Nice video but well, it's multiplayer...
Sounds like the Battleroom in Ender's Game. Which coincidentally is getting it's own game developed by Chair of Undertow fame.
meh, the video was rubbish and didn't show anything. Want to see what kind of game it is other than just some kind of space shooter.
I don't like their Zero Gravity idea - it is bent. I suggest they include an option to play without it - ie an anti-ZeroG belt or something. I'm not faffing about with some Zero-G bentness.
I simply do not like the idea.
I sense Futuremark are just plain unpopular.
Maybe for showing us time after time how lame our PC's are - not a good way to make friends is it really :[
