Google Maps + Street View +

Google maps has a new and wonderful feature called StreetView
Subjet to location. Have a look here for an example

Google - Street View

Click on any BLUE street. After a short while you can 360 around and zoom in. Click the direction indicators to move in towards that location

Streetview went life 15 months ago, and they have been adding more and more cities since...

I'm starting to find this quite addictive. Interesting how they have blurred out faces, number plates etc. That must have taken eons considering how much ground has been covered. Some locations reveal the Google car used to take the images too. Just look down

How do you switch it on? It was on your link, but I went to Seattle and it wasn't an option. Does that just mean it's unavailable?

Yeah, I don't think they've mapped Seattle. Try Boston. :-)

It's a very weird feeling to use this and actually see the front door of your house, your car out front, etc. eek!

Yeah it's cool. I like the one someone posted here a way back with that guy dealing drugs. Priceless...
