Could someone make me a really simple online game?

Hey,

I am working on my very first online game.

But I have no idea what I'm doing!

I can't quite figure out where to start.

Do I start my game with the StartNetGame command?

Or do I use Streams?

Or a combination?


I would really appreciate it if someone could write me a very basic
2D online game.

Just so I can see how you go about coding something like that.


If anyone can do this for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
And you would be fully repaid for your trouble, when my
game comes out.(If you like it that is.)

Nope.

I really need this so I know how to code one.

It doesn't have to be complex.

Just something with a few squares that move around would do fine.

I'll do it for £300/day.

You are paying, right? Since you're having to ask for help at this stage and I therefore don't think your game will ever "come out", I'm afraid I'll need cash up front.

LOL, I don't have that kind of money.

It does NOT have to be a large program.

Just something really, really simple that will let 2 people that are on
different computers play with each other.

Search around for a 3D shooter example. It's floating around the forums somewhere. It should be what you need to get started. (I'm not exactly sure what the name is, or where on the forums it is but I did try it about a year ago)

Y'know, there are Code Archives here. And the Networking/Multiplayer section isn't really that big to look through.

How about

Somewhere in there, if you're serious about seeing "how you go about coding something like that", you'll find something to help.
