20 Terrible Games

Yes, it's one of those lists but reading this they did target some games that have others have missed before and it made me LOL quite a bit. There's a little bad language in some of the descriptions but nothing too awful. It's about time games like "Heroes of the Lance" and "Total Recall" where recognised for their sheer awfulness.

I'm amazed that Rise of the Robots isn't in there.

Must say I'm slightly offended at the suggestion that crap games are made by "handicapped people". Completely unnecessary, imho.

Agreed. Particularly since Bad Street Brawler is on there, and at the same time, a much better fighting game than Rise Of The Robots. By several orders of magnitude.

I got Rise Of The Robots for free with a second hand CD32. And was highly disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, there are many, many reasons Night Trap should be against the law, but four or five blood-soaked sorority girl nighties are not any of them.

Some of those comments are priceless. I havent chuckled this much over bad games since watching the A.N.Nerd evaluating "bible games".

What makes this unique from other string-collecting driving games is that the game doesn't care if you decide to drive directly through chair legs or walls.

My poor Atari Jaguar is getting some smacks in the face... Although most of the Jaguar games listed are no good. But I don't think White Men Can't Jump was that bad.

Big Rigs doesn't qualify because of the unintentional 'laugh out loud' entertainment of it's unmitagated awfulness.

Wow I started busting out laughing when I saw E.T. as number one. I'm always telling my friends how weird and thus funny it is (I've even mentioned it on here a few times) and it holds the prestigious spot as worst game ever.

And whats more, apparently most of them aren't around. Yay for me for having E.T, coolest game ever.

Agreed that dissing handicapped people is in bad taste, if he's going to go on about racism in a game then he should mind his manners.

Agreed, some of the comments are in poor taste but overall it's a very funny article and I don't think there's any real malice in those comments they are more of the type you hear kids using,e.g. "Jeez, James your such a spasmo". It's still wrong but I think it was a stupid throaway comment and there's no anti-disability angle to that piece.

Yeah, it's ok for kids who don't know any better but Sean isn't a kid any more. If you're writing an article that many other people will read you really shouldn't descend into taking cheap shots at disabled people for the sake of a laugh.

That said the articles were amusing, I had a good lol at the ET landfill joke.

Your character in Total Recall, like the real Arnold, has an incredible arsenal of moves at his disposal: both a jump, and a sad thing he does with his wrist that sort of resembles a punch. You should be fine, though; since you're 300 pounds of highly trained muscle and not only are most of your enemies are midgets, and most of their attacks are harmlessly leaping over your head again and again.

how can TOTAL RECALL be in there? that was pure GENIUS!!!!

best game on Atari Jaguar was Alien vs Predator with DOOM a close second :-)
