I can't read it because the body text is dark brown and the background color is black.

Sounds like your monitor is losing contrast. I haven't seen anyone with that problem before. Anyway if you want to download the Preview 2 release, here's a direct link:

That blog color scheme is definately hard on the eyes. It makes reading the blog hard work - which is really not what you want with a blog.
