3D Sport Car models
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/3D Sport Car models Ask Turbosquid for a refund. I've found them to be very good at refunding where an item is not as described.
Offhand, I can only think of these:

I have a very good 3d artist friend. If you are interested please let me know.
Can't you downscale the polygon count using 3D Studio Max or something? Is it hard to do this? (I've never done that so I'm just curious)
This site has a lot of great car models: http://3d02.com/main/home_01.asp , although they might be too high poly.

That usually screws up the model.
Shouldn't be too hard to reduce it by hand if you know your way around edit mesh and edit poly. I wouldn't trust an automatic reduction algo they tend to make a mess.
I guess you know enough to check the modifier stack and make sure they didn't just meshsmooth a whole bunch of times to add a bunch of itterations from a mid to super high poly mesh for normal maps?

I do know 3dsmax and how to cut it down, but Carrera I got is crap with TurboSmooth modifier assigned on to everything..so when I remove it, remaining geometry is damn poor...but I really need model ready out of the box..

Can you post some screens of his work, with and without wireframe, please..

..this looks really nice and low poly..now...may i ask you for favor? Can you ask your friend, for detailed information about polygon count.. is this exact poly count in final mesh or it is base poly count and on the top of it he applied TurboSmooth modifier so, practically thats what makes it look good(like this jerk who use to cheat me, 37K exposed on site and when i open file it was 700K)..can you confirm with him polycount, particulary for this model

He says he didn't use any smoothing, but smooth groups. 16,306 is the triangle count of the model. There is also a quad based mesh in the website which makes 8500ish poly. He specially designed it for lowpoly and games. He also pointed it's not good for subdivision dividing as it's aimed for a low poly model.
You can talk to him if you have any problems. Or me...

..I see...thanks Mortiis..Im going to buy Pagani Zonda model later today..and if good..few more..by the way..what if im interested in to specific models, he can do it based on request? if so, is that changing price?
I didn't talk to him today but I asked it before asking about the TSquid models. He didn't mention a price but he said it wouldn't be the same price in TSquid if it's gonna be a model by your order. One specific for your needs. It's best you talk to him on msn or mail him. Sent you an email including his msn adress.
