Just spotted this on GGOTD, and thought it might appeal to fans of old school shmups. I bought it some time ago, it's pretty good as these type of games go, and you can't very well argue with the price this time.

Snaffled thanks for the news. I've played their Helicopter games before and they are neat. Had the demo for this but it suffered massive slowdown on my machine. That may have been with the old video card so I'll try it out again.
It runs pretty well here, played it for a bit. I didn't fund it very much fun, though. After a while of seeing realistic 3d backgrounds scrolling by, which I could not really look at because you have to focus on the action/bullets, I wondered why they bothered having 3D backgrounds at all - it could have had the same impact with 2D. The only difference seemed to be the slight squeezing/expanding of the graphics as they move up the screen. Nice to see some 3D stuff elsewhere, though. I didn't enjoy it that much I think partly because it's hard to see what's going on. I did like the power-up options though. Sometimes I think if a game takes itself too seriously it stops being so enjoyable. I think this game is somewhat serious focussed.
When I first ran it, got hooked on it. I'm on World 3 now. Lovely game. (tip:Buy third weapon, don't spend credits on others :D)
