Nintendo Wii causes seizures
Miscellaneous Forums/General Discussion/Nintendo Wii causes seizures Oh my word... That's shocking... I hope she's ok... Nintendo have a LOT to answer for.
Jesus that guy has horrendous posture.
How do you get a job reporting technology for the BBC? Just walk in with a Mac under your arm?

LOL I want that game! .
You could say that an ant walking in front of you on the sidewalk can cause seizures. There has to be something about the individual that is inside of him that makes him `prone` to it.
ImaginaryHuman, you need to watch the video. :-)

Haven't you ever read any of his "magical" posts? It'd take something really extreme to make him feel silly.I kid, ImaginaryHuman, I kid. I always enjoy reading your kooky spiritual posts - even though I don't share your beliefs. ;)
LMAO, thats one bad seizure. Sorry, seizures are not funny... Theres a little footage of fable 2, Hmm the reason for santa to bring a xbox360....?
On the same page theres footage of a parachutist landing on a military band ouch... Medic!

Nope, they're not. My brother has epilepsy. If this video had been an actual seizure I wouldn't be posting videos of it here and encouraging people to laugh at her.Just a $0.02 before the PC brigade start to chip in. ;)

Can see the headlines now; "Parachutist lands on military band. Trombone section still unaccounted for". Unless I'm watching a different video, there are no seizures in it.
You're mighty slow, arentya? :-p
How so ?
How so ?
Perhaps he's referring to the 'drumsolo' looking like she's having a seizure?
(Kind of a stretch, though -- I was wondering what the heck he was talking about as well)

His imagination is not only running wildly around, but is attacking sanity with a kipper too.
This child is also having a seizure:
No he's not.

You didn't know she was having a seizure. You didn't know she was a 'she'.Do you have eyes, even?
I know that she wasn't having a seizure.
And do you have any manners ?

Yes. You have a sense of humour? Apparently not.
Not regarding this, no.
My (very close) mate has epilepsy, she collapsed after complaining of headaches. She had been taking too much Xtacy in a club. She was rushed to hospital and it turned out she had a brain tumor (kind of lucky or it would never of heamorraged and never been discovered!).
She survived the surgery but now has cronic epilepsy, i went travelling with her for two years after and i can tell you there is NOTHING remotely amusing about an epileptic fit in the center of bombay/mumbai. However i --know-- for certain, she would have a chuckle at that video. She would probably echo me when i say that the ones that love & care about them tend to be more sensitive than the individual themselves.
My point is, (while i understand where you are comming from MrTAToad, trust me i have been there!!) is that if people with disabilities/problems can see the good of (lighthearted) humor on it then we should too.

OT I know but what the heck was your friend doing taking Xtacy when she had been diagnosed with epilepsy? Or was she only diagnosed afterwards? Personally I think you've gotta be crazy to take illegal pills, you've no idea what could be in it (or how strong it is) and many of them are cut with all kinds of horrible substances if the "active agent" doesn't do you enough damage.

I think this has slid far enough off topic now.
